Trouble Shooting

When I first bought my macintosh and I had problems I was real crazy. I know every one has problems with their own computer and does'nt know what to do. So, in this page we'll teach you what to do!

Note! - There is tonnes of problems ... Sorry about that but, if there is any problems that we did not tell you. Just email you and i'll solve the problem for you ( If possible ) note I will not solve problems like ( My computer's modem is not working ) I don't solve hard ware problems.

Crashing problems...

1. If your computer crashed. There is 3 ways.

- Force Quit. Press Apple or the command key, option key, control key and the ESC key at the same time. Doesn't work? try the second one.

- Press Apple or Command Key, apple and the on off switch on the keyboard at the same time. ( This might not work of the computer is heavily frozen)

- What should I do if this didn't work? get a pin and push the pin in the arrow key in the main line part. ( Main line part?) Main line part is the place that you plug the keyboard and other things in. ( The arrow is pointing left )

Freezing problem...

2. Sometimes or usually computer seems to be crashed but the computer is still loading.

- If the computer just stopped automatically ( Wait! ) and see what happens.

- If you waited more than 10 minute. The computer it definitely crashed.

- Go to the Crashing problems if your computer has crashed.

Weird marks left over.

3. The best way to solve this problem...

- Your computer is running out of RAM and might crash soon. Just save all your work and then restart.

- Conflict catcher. Looks after your start up system. Make's your computer less crash.

-Norton Utilities. Highly recommend. Why? Its because this software come with a lot of useful utilities.

-Norton Disk Doctor- Scans your whole hardrive for damages. Repairs files.

-Unerase- As you know. Most people say that deleted files are almost impossible to get it back. Deleted in mistake? This is a great utility!

This recovers the file you deleted.

Concerns about Norton Utility 4.0 and 5.0

The good thing is. 4.0 has a utility called Norton Crash Guard. A Anti crash utility.

The bad thing is 5.0 does not have this program.
